During the last election in the USA, Ronald Reagan, once a Democrat who defected to the Republicans, was used by both sides of a shining example of what a President should be.
It was common throughout the campaign for both sides to quote him, posthumously second guessing his thoughts on their tactics, and hail him as the best ever modern leader of the free world.
With that in mind, at the weekend we ran a poll. Would you like to add Ronald Reagan to Mount Rushmore?
36% said Yes, 60% said No and 4% were undecided.
It is worth noting that during discussions, some who voted no, said that they had done so as they believe the monument should remain unaltered. Others said in 200 years, whilst Washington and Lincoln would still be relevant, Reagan might be forgotten... and others just plain didn't like the idea.
Thanks for taking part.

At the weekend we posted a broad question on our voting booth, with a picture of the new President asking "Will he be any good?"
Of 145 votes, 70 said yes and 75 said no. This is surprising in so far as every time we previously asked you who you would vote for, around 2/3rds of you chose Clinton.
This demonstrates a slight thaw in attitude towards the new administration as opinion now seems to be roughly half of you thinking he will be good and half of you thinking he will not!
Of course, it is entirely possible that the 1/3rd of you who appear to have shifted, still think Clinton would have been better, but it does demonstrate that some more people have indeed got on board with the Trump Train.

In the penultimate episode of our favourite reality show, Obama and Biden were seen crying on TV and outdoing each other with bestowal of awards. In todays final episode, will it be Hillary's turn? Will she throw up, pass out and fall over the balcony into the crowd? Find out as this grisly reality show reaches its climax!
One thing is for sure. You can rely on the spin-off series featuring the new President to be every bit as entertaining.

For many, it is about choosing the lesser of the two evils. For others it is a decision whether or not to stay on the same path, or veer from it with an untested politician who promises a brighter future.
However you decide, have a great day and sincere thanks for one of the best ever reality shows.

We polled visitors again this week about the American Presidential Election. These are the results from the three polls from March, June and November.
If this is at all reflective of how America votes, this could be one of the closest elections of all time with the Donald gaining significant ground on Clinton who has always been in the lead.
Trump 43.0% Clinton 57.0%
Trump 41.6% Clinton 58.4%
Trump 49.3% Clinton 50.7%
That said.. remember when we polled you about In/Out of Europe just ahead of the big vote and only 38% thought we should leave. On the day itself 52% voted to Leave!

You opinion matters tonight as the Second Presidential debate takes place.
Will Hillary cough up a lung and fall unconscious into the crowd, or will Trump goose the women in the front row and follow it up with a mass hootering?
These are the things that make this debate one of the most entertaining slow motion car-crashes of the modern time.
Witness this grisly spectacle and have your say, live as it happens, here in London City. Bring some popcorn, this is high calibre entertainment, with the tiniest smattering of politics.
Starts 6pm SL Time, 2am UK Time. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/London%20City/82/221/23

A lively debate was enjoyed last night by those who gathered in London City to see the first presidential head-to-head.
Hillary Clinton, somewhat reminiscent of a Cheshire cat, with a permanent broad smile, was effective. Far from coughing, wobbling and falling off the stage into the audience, she delivered a well rehearsed message and remained calm.
The consensus of those watching form London City, was that she left Mr Trump somewhat on the hop, unable to answer questions without a convoluted preamble, and forcing him to adopt a defensive position throughout, without much if any opportunity to attack.
There will be a 2nd debate on 9th October and a third and final head-to-head on 29th October.

You can use Voice or Text to express your views, your opinion matters!

Last Sunday when Hillary Clinton collapsed at the 9/11 memorial day, people began to give a lot more credence to what had previously been considered outrageous conspiracy theories about her health.
Her team said after the incident, what was originally thought to be allergies was in fact pneumonia.
A Google of 'Hillary Clinton health' reveals many thousands of theories from Parkinson's to Alzheimer's which largely began circulating after she suffered a fall which cause brain bleed back in 2012.
Last week Mrs Clinton suffered another prolonged coughing fit for the first 6 minutes of her speech in Cleveland Ohio, 3 days before the incident at the 9/11 memorial and she has previously, on more than one occasion exhibited symptoms akin to mini seizures.
Given that her health, or rather the transparency of her health issues, is one of the top news stories at this time, we asked visitors to London City over the past couple of days, "Should Hillary Stand Down?"
As you can see, this question completely split those who answered the poll, with 42 saying Yes she should stand down and 41 saying she should not.
Mrs Clinton will be giving her first speech, since the incidents, today at North Carolina, where no doubt she will have one of the biggest world audiences watching her every move.

Last Wednesday we speculated that it would be a Trump v Clinton Presidential race and asked how you would vote.
Some very strong opinion as our voting machine only allows 150 votes (actually 149 for some reason), but first past to the Winning Post on Friday was Hillary Clinton with 85 votes (57%) to Trumps 64 votes (435).
Not since the infamous voice vote of a couple of years ago has the voting booth reached its maximum voting so quickly.
Remember this vote, because we will run it again in October a month before the Election (so long as Trump and Clinton are the nominees) to see if your opinions have changed.
