Nuts to Billy

There is an extremely slim chance that you missed this news.  I doubt it, but just in case, here's a blog story..

Famed London builder, clothing designer, part time slut, and member of Pan's People, Billy Arentire has been unwell.

A week ago Billy went into hospital for what he thought was a scrotal face-lift, but turned out to be the removal of something obscene attached to his junk located in the undercarriage department.

The poor old sod has been in a huge amount of pain, and currently walks like Tina Turner with his legs agape, whilst being dosed up to the eye balls on Codeine and saying all kinds of inappropriate things during his drug crazed adventure.

Just about everyone in the medical profession has had a look at the site of the carnage, including a couple of bemused NHS tea ladies, a lady with a purple rinse from the league of friends, and a highly excitable Spanish porter.

The side effect of the Codeine is well known.  And we're pleased to announce that after copious amounts of senokot, blast-off was finally achieved at 8am this morning.

More news as it happens...

Aliens have visited

The species known as "The Greys", are supposedly the very most frequent visitors of all alien races to this dried out old husk of a planet, we call Earth.

They are the ones who frequently abduct people, perform experiments on them, then do a half-assed attempt at wiping their memory, and return them so they can appear on Youtube.

We thought it might a good idea to do one of our surveys and ask visitors if The Greys really exist and if they really have visited Earth.

91 people voted.  55 people (60%) believe the Greys have visited Earth, whilst 36 (40%) believe they have not.   This is an interesting result as means that the majority of people believe that there is, or has been extra terrestrial life visiting us.

Another fun poll soon!   Thanks for taking part.

A Linden Bear in the Bin!

One man's trash is another man's treasure..

You never know quite what you're going to find in the Soho Trash Can, but with over 100 gifts, including cash, you might strike it lucky and get something useful.... or useless.

It's always worth a rummage in the bin!

The lovely Constantine Linden popped by to donate his Linden Bear to the London City trash can, so that all residents have a chance of winning one.  We're honored indeed!

Good luck in winning the latest prize!  Just walk into the bin and it will hand you your present!

A Royal Fiasco and also a Wedding

The proud father
The Royal wedding is on track to be a fun day out (or in) for everyone!

The story so far..

Meghan Merkin's father has had a convenient heart attack which will prevent him from giving his daughter away at the right royal wedding.   Getting caught trying to wheeler deal with the paparazzi for some exclusive behind the scenes photo's has got nothing to do with it.

Meanwhile Clarance House has explained all in a highly detailed and reassuring statement that will allay any gossip.  It reads, "This is a deeply personal moment for Ms Markle in the days before her wedding. She and Prince Harry ask again for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr Markle in this difficult situation."

Radiant Mother-In-Law
Back on the lawn, the Royal family have broken with the tradition of feeding the wedding guests by telling them if they want to eat, they need to bring their own cheese roll or get a McWedding Burger from across the road.

The twelve hundred Golden Ticket holders, who have been especially invited for "serving their communities", have also been told that there is no water there either and if they want to remain reasonably hydrated they need to bring a drink too.

So far, this is shaping up to be a right royal fiasco and there's still a number of days to go before the big event.

Feast fit for a king
Join us live in London City on Saturday at 4am SL time (Midday in the UK) as we enjoy even more twists and turns in what is bound to be proper carbaret.

A Eurovision flutter

I
It's the Eurovision weekend!

This year spare a thought for our dearly departed Katie Boyle, who died last month.  Katie hosted the Worldwide show in 1960, 1963, 1968 and 1974 and the UK portion throughout all of the the 1970's.

If you are a bit of a two-dollar-bettor you might like to have a flutter on the Eurovision Song Contest.

Today would be a good day to head on down to the bookies and place your bets.

The thing to remember about betting on Eurovision, is that it's not all about who has the best song.  It's also about who has the best political ties.  I've put a couple of quid on Australia because I think they have a great song, but the long odds show that the bookies think they're not in a political pole position chance of winning!

Join in on the live stream here in London City from 12pm SL time on Saturday!

Tina Turner on Saturday

Born Anna Mae Bollock and best known as Tina Tuna, her musical career got going in the 1940s.

Tina and loving husband Ike Turner had a string of notable hits, River Deep Mountain High, Nutbush City Limits and Proud Mary and enjoyed their success with cigarettes and whisky and wild wild  women.

However, behind the scenes Ike was knocking seven shades out of poor old Tina and they split up in 1976.  Five years later, after getting rid of her junkie husband, Tina hit superstardom with Let's Stay Together, Private Dancer and What's Love Got To Do With It.  A legend came into being.

Enjoy Tina's most famous hits this weekend, here in London City.

Tina Turner in Concert.  Party starts 12pm SL with the Concert an hour later at 1pm SL

1st May

Good morning from London City, where it's standing room only at the moment.  But there's always room for you.  Come join us!

Windows 10 Spring update

After a lengthy download and ninety minutes later, I am now the proud owner of Windows 10 update version 1803.

I don't believe it offers me anything new that I will want to dive into, but I am grateful to have my operating system back relatively in one piece.

After umpteen restarts, Windows is finally ready.  I am treated like a new user who has freshly installed it for the first time and it asks me about permissions to track my location, my files, my videos and my microphone etc.  The usual nosy stuff that that many of us like to avoid.

I clicked "no" to all the privacy permissions, but thought it would be prudent to review my previous privacy settings again and make sure they had been honoured.

Alas, many of the privacy options I had previously disabled have been miraculously re-enabled.

So my tip to you is, once installation has completed, go through all the options on the left hand side of the Privacy menu and turn off the things you do not want.   Do not assume your privacy settings have been carried forward.

As for the operating system itself.  Pretty much the same as it was.  Just more junk under the hood.

One more thing..  For good measure, if you have System Restore enabled, it turns it off!

May in the City

Enjoy the month of May with us here in London City.   This coming weekend it is the long  May-Day Bank Holiday again!  It's been weeks since the last one!

Throughout May, enjoy sunny settings and great concerts, and extra special events including Eurovision and "It's a Right Royal Wedding".
