Celebrating 50 years since decriminalization

To all those who turned out for the Pride Parade in RL London yesterday, thank you for celebrating this landmark event.

With social attitudes so utterly changed in the UK, where it hasn't mattered a jot in many years who you love, it is sometimes hard to believe that this was once a crime and remained unacceptable long after abolition.

30 thousand people took to the streets of London yesterday to celebrate 50 years since the decriminalization of homosexuality.   Whilst it remained a taboo subject for many years after, the British open and inclusive society we find ourselves in today, has evolved so much in the past 20 years.  One can only hope that these frontiers of freedom will one day be accepted the world over.
