Today was the Pride Parade in London City, ending Pride 2016.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who has attended Pride through June and thank you to the cast and crew of all the shows. Thank you for making this such a success. The parade was the usual fiasco it is every year, so enjoy this horribly hurried and rough cut video of Parade.

Whether you choose to leave, or remain; today is the day you cast your vote. Unlike General Elections where you can boot out the offending party in favour of a different one, this is a once in a lifetime vote as to whether or not Britain should leave the EU or remain in it. We will not be asked again, so choose wisely!

It's been a while since the last full release of the popular Singularity Viewer, with many of its users opting into the Alpha path to receive updates.
The wait is now over with a full main release: Singularity version 1.8.7 (6861) Dated 16th June 2016, is now available to download from http://www.singularityviewer.org/
For those wishing to remain on the Alpha path and receive this current version and the more frequent updates (although some will of course be better than others), see the Alpha download page and download the most recent version.
You need to use this to preserve the current directory structure of the Alpha paths if you intend to remain using Alpha releases. http://alpha.singularityviewer.org/alpha/
As with all viewer upgrades, its always best to uninstall the old viewer first. Your settings will be preserved.
Here is a reminder of some of our favourite additional settings that can be used to customize Singlarity viewer:

Sadly, no Mac version currently available. A note from the Singularity team:
Unfortunately, we are left without a Mac dev and we would welcome applications. If anyone at all knows a mac user that knows how to program in C++, then PLEASE ask them if they would like to help us out so we can start offering an up-to-date singu for Mac.

In March we assumed that it would be a Trump v Clinton race to the White House and asked you to cast your votes. At the time it was Trump 64 (43%), Clinton 85 (57%).
Now that it is definitely a Trump v Clinton election, we polled you again at the weekend to see if your opinion had changed.
Almost no change at all in your opinions with Trump scoring 62 (42%) and Clinton scoring 87 (58%).
It is worth noting that Trump seems to score much better in the middle of the night UK time which would be USA prime time. This could indicated that he is more popular in the USA than in the UK.

Her Majesty the Queen turned 90 in April, but today is her official Birthday. This cunning tradition of doubling up on pressies, originated after a bleak wartime childhood where she would receive just a tangerine and maybe the odd country or two to add to her Empire.
Happy 180th Birthday ma'am.
See you at London Pride tonight, for the Bee Gees in Concert.

|Show some respect and party as Jan would have wished.|
With the release of the single Sometimes the band established itself as one of the most successful bands in Britain during the 80s to mid-90s. By the end of the 80s they had broken into the American market and to date have sold over 25 million albums.
Always popular with the LGBT club circuit, the band still performs today to a more mainstream audience. They are best known for the songs, Oh L'amour, Victim of Love, Blue Savannah and A Little Respect .
Enjoy a tribute to Erasure here in London City on Saturday. Party starts 12pm SL (8pm UK) with the show an hour later at 1pm SL time. Teleport: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/London%20City/95/104/23

Celebrate Pride Festival throughout June in London City.
Top Turns this year include, Judy Garland, Donna Summer, Bette Midler, Abba, The Bee Gees and many more!
With Concerts every week, a funfair and Pride Memorabilia to collect, we think you'll agree that our 7th Pride here at London City is the best one yet!
With London City now an official Community Gateway, many newer residents will probably not have experienced this festival in-world before. You can see what to expect at London City Pride, from the links below showing some of our previous Pride events:
Pride 2012 Pride 2013 Pride 2014 Pride 2015
The Festival gets under way on Saturday 4th June with Erasure, 11th June with The Bee Gees and the Main Event on Saturday 18th, to tie in with RL London Pride is all day long, featuring Donna Summer, Pants People, One Night in Heaven, Gay Anthems and a surprise LIVE cabaret artist.
Don't forget to check notices from all the London City clubs throughout the Pride season for great events, especially from Madame Lala's, our longest running gay/trans club celebrating its 6th Birthday.
You don't have to be gay, lesbian or trans to enjoy Pride with us. It's a festival or freedom for open minds. So get shopping for some great costumes. It is positively inexcusable to looks drab!
Project Bento has been in development for over a year and since the end of 2015 the lab has been rigorously testing this new system enhancement.
Yesterday they announced a much wider test. See the blog announcement here.
The addition of 90 extra bones to the skeleton will mean a revolution in realism for the avatars. Also, 30 extra face bones which can be tied into appearance sliders will make for super realistic expressions.
Initially you will need to use the Project Bento viewer until these changes are implemented in the viewer of your choice.
Although it is still in testing, the rolling of the code to the main grid, indicates the project is nearing completion.
See the video below for more details:
