Weekend in Review - 19-20 November

Hello kiddies, auntie Bailey here again with another weekend roundup.  Please bear with me on this, I am a little sore today as I was hit by one of the new London buses yesterday - quite a surprise as I was in my rooftop garden at the time...

On Saturday we had the fantastic Helvis Xue performing live in Regent's Park - about as close to the real Elvis as we could get without coaxing him out of hiding in the chippy in Skegness.  The sim was full to bursting and he lulled us all with some smooth tunes first before rocking our socks off.

Sunday saw us having a hoedown in Comptons pub, which is always a novelty but thankfully it wasn't my turn to sweep up all the straw afterwards.

Elsewhere in London City 3: Victoria things are progressing well.  A newsagent has set up shop there and the new club for ladies who like ladies, Lezbo, is close to opening.  On London City 2: West End, the World's End pub is proving to be popular with a range of events such as strip bingo(!) and trivia contests.

Rumour has it that following the appearance of a few signs of Christmas across the city, the seasonal festivities will be getting bigger over the next few days...watch this space for details.
